We treat all our wonderful wildlife with respect and reverence, but we freely acknowledge that our bears are absolutely our main attraction. Getting to know them, their habits, their daily routines, and of course their playground antics requires someone who speaks their language. For us, Jim is our Bear Whisperer, a man who has dedicated his life to studying these magnificent creatures. It’s not unusual to find Jim playing ball with a young cub or explaining to Papa Bear that even the new larger pool is still too small for his big fat ass. Recently Jim has attempted to use his unique animal communication skills to tutor our beautiful bobcats, but they quickly let him know they were not interested.
